No composition classes tomorrow, for I will be with the 7th graders on their field trip to the National Gallery. As for today...
7th Grade/2nd Period: No class today -- floater 2. There is a quiz Thursday on defining and identifying DC's.
7th Grade/3rd Period: Today we did the quiz on defining and identifying DCs, then we finished class exercise 50 in class. We will have a quiz on Thursday on punctuating and PT-ing complex sentences.
8th Grade/4th & 6th Period: Today we walked through the two-paragraph essay on "If..." I will post that example on the left soon. You have a two-paragraph essay on "The Man in the Glass" due this Friday, December 5.
HOOPER PROJECT: In honor of the 7th graders' field trip tomorrow, a Hooper freebie. Two points to every Comper who can tell me the name of the volcano whose eruption put the ancient city of Pompeii permanently out of business. Good luck!
