Many apologies for the lateness of this post, but I just wanted to get an update uploaded. It's a crazy week, and I wanted to map it out for you.
7th Grade/2nd Period: Today we worked on exercise 51 in the Gold Book, and finishing the exercise is the homework tonight. Tomorrow is a quiz on picking dependent markers (like Ex. 50 in the Gold Book), and then we'll begin work on Chapter 37 on minimizing DC's. No class Wednesday due to the poetry contest.
7th Grade/3rd Period: Today we finished up with exercise 51 (you're about a half-class ahead of the 2nd period guys). Tomorrow is the quiz on writing DC's, then we'll work on Ch. 37. No class Wednesday due to the poetry contest.
8th Grade/4th Period: Today we walked through the next Zinger piece, Andrew Ferguson's "Self-Interest is Bad?" That zinger is due Thursday. Tomorrow (Tuesday), we will have a quiz on quoting "The Man in the Glass," and then an exercise on some troublesome thesis words. No class Wednesday.
8th Grade/6th Period: No class today -- floater six. Tomorrow we will walk-through the Ferguson Zinger.
