Happy Election day, and Happy first day of the second quarter. On to the update...

7th Grade/2nd Period: Today we did the quiz on punctuating the first three PT's, then introduced PT's #4-5. No class tomorrow: Festival Day. Thursday we'll do a quiz on writing the first three PT's (it will look like exercise 40 in the Gold Book), then move into the exercises on the next PT's.

7th Grade/3rd Period: Today we did the quiz on punctuating the first three PT's, then introduced PT's #4-5. No class tomorrow: Festival Day. No class Thursday: floater three. 8th Grade/4th Period: Today we finished up the first quarter with the quiz on quoting "If..." Then we began talking about precis writing. No class tomorrow: Festival Day. First precis will be Thursday.

HOOPER PROJECT: No one carried last night's election Hooper, so it's worth double tonight.
