Tuesday, Oct. 14
Way to rally out of the long weekend, gentlemen. As my boy Smiegel would say, I'm proudses of yous. On the update:
7th Grade/2nd Period: Today we did the quiz on clause identification. Tomorrow is the quiz on the four kinds of sentences. Quiz will resemble exercises 26 an d 27 in the Gold Book, which we did today in class.
7th Grade/3rd Period: Long time no see. No class today - floater three. Tomorrow we will finally do that quiz on the sentence types. Quiz will be like Ex. 26-27 in the Gold Book. Enjoy.
8th Grade/4th Period: Today we did the next P.J. Essay on Rudyard Kipling's "If." If you did not finish it in class, you must hand it in tomorrow, even though it's Floater four.
8th Grade/6th Period: Today we reviewed the first P.J. on "Danegeld." Tomorrow we will do the next one on Kipling's "If."
HOOPER PROJECT: Congrats, again, to Cody Mauri for banking three points by investing in this weekend's Hooper triple. Indeed, monetary policy is set in the U.S. by the Federal Reserve Board, distributed profits are called dividends, and markets are nicknamed Bulls and Bears, depending on how much richer rich people are getting.
Tonight, a BIG Hooper Tuesday two-fer. Two points to the first and one to each additional Comper who can tell me: (a) what was the largest animal now living on earth?, (b) what is the largest ever? GOOOOOOD LUUUUUUCK.
