Happy Friday/Three Day Weekend Kickoff, everyone. A quick recap:
7th Grade/2nd Period: No class today - floater two. Tuesday we'll do the quiz on clause identification.
7th Grade/3rd Period: Today we did the quiz on clause identification. No class Tuesday - floater three.
8th Grade/4th Period: Today we reviewed yesterday's P.J. Essay on "Danegeld." Almost everyone has a redo on that. We'll have another PJ on Tuesday.
8th Grade/6th Period: Today we're doing the PJ Essay on "Danegeld." Tuesday we'll review that, then Wednesday will be the next PJ.
HOOPER PROJECT: In honor of the global economic meltdown, some Hoopers from the world of finance. Three points to the first and one to each additional Comper who can tell me: (a) What government entity is in charge of setting interest rates for American financial institutions?, (b) What is the name given to the portion of profits that a company distributes among its shareholders?, and (c) What two animals symbolize good and bad days in the financial markets?
