Tuesday, Sept. 30

Few things, gentlemen. First of all, tomorrow is Wikipedia Wednesday. I will be going to the Newseum with the 7th graders. There will be an essay assignment of some kind -- I have to think of it first -- probably due Friday.

Now, on to the update:

7th Grade/2nd Period: No class today -- floater two. Thursday we'll do the "S or NS" quiz, based on exercise 14 in the Gold Book.

7th Grade/3rd Period: Solid class today. We did the quiz on "S or NS," and then went all the way through Ch. 19 and exerise 16. Excellent job. Quiz Thursday will be on clause vocabulary (identical to ex. 16).

8th Grade/4th Period: Quiz today on quoting. No class tomorrow -- Wiki-Wed -- or Thursday -- floater 4 -- so I'll see you Friday.

8th Grade/6th Period: Quiz today on quoting. No class tomorrow -- Wiki-Wed. Thursday we will finish up the worksheets I handed out today.

HOOPER PROJECT: Congrats to about 15 of you who nailed yesterday's Archangel Hooper. Indeed, the mighty winged three are Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael, all of whom celebrated a feast day yesterday.
