Tuesday, Sept. 16

Gentlemen,

My apologies for the lack of an update yesterday. To get everyone caught up:

7th Grade/2nd Period: Adjectives quiz today. Finished adverbs today, then moved on to prepositions. Quiz Friday on adverbs (Field trip Wednesday, Floater 2 Thursday).

7th Grade/3rd Period: Adjectives quiz today. Finished adverbs today, then moved on to prepositions. Quiz Thursday on adverbs.

8th Grade/4th Period: Completed review of relative markers and clauses today. Quiz Thursday.

8th Grade/6th Period: Completed review of relative markers and clauses today. Quiz Thursday.

HOOPER PROJECT: Congrats to Davidson, N. for correctly answering the weekend geography Hooper. Yes, indeed, the Isle of Wight is in the English Channel, the Rock of Gibraltar is at the southern tip of Spain, and the Sea of Tranquility is on the moon. (Yes, I know "geography" refers to the earth, but whatever...)

Tonight, some particularly oppressive Hoopers. Three points to the first and one to each additional Comper who can tell me the nations led by each of the following historical bloodletters: (a) Ghengis Kahn, (b) Ivan the Terrible, (c) Elizabeth Tudor, and (d) Idi Amin. Good luck!
