Good work today -- solid classes all four periods (well, I expect so... 6th period hasn't happened yet). Here's what happened:
7th Grade/2nd & 3rd Periods: We ran through chapters 11-14 in the Gold Book, and tomorrow we will do an open-book quiz on punctuation. It will be designed for everyone to get an A. I don't expect everyone to learn all punctuation in one day, just to get accustomed to dealing with the marks and their purposes.
8th Grade/4th & 6th Periods: Today we did an insanely easy quiz on essay components, then began work on quoting. I think we need to do some more of it before the quizzes, so let's hold off on any quizzes until next week.
No Hooper because of the post below, but remember, five points extra credit if you go to the soccer game this afternoon. Go Knights!
