7th Grade/3rd Period - Today we did the adverbs quiz and then finished up prepositions and articles. No class tomorrow: Floater 3. Quiz Monday on prepositions. Tuesday's quiz will cover articles, interjections, and conjunctions, and that will -- finally -- end our in-depth review of the parts of speech.

HOOPER PROJECT: Congrats to Cody Mauri and several others for scourging last night's Hooper. Indeed, the famous exhortation, "Ecce homo!" means "Behold the man," and it was uttered by Pontius Pilate during Christ's Passion.
Tonight, a Hooper inspired by a comment during today's 6th period class. Three points to the first and one to each additional Comper who can tell me: (a) Kunta Kinte was the central character of what 1976 historical novel?, (b) Who was that novel's author?, and (c) What was the name of the 1965 classic autobiography that he co-wrote? Answer these Hoopers, gentlemen, by any means necessary.
