First of all, thanks to Alex Laisney for helping me kick-start a new Avalon middle school tradition: Rec-Spec-Half-Day-Fridays!

Now, on to the weekend update...

7th Grade/2nd & 3rd Period: Friday we did the quiz on punctuation. Monday 7th graders will have a quiz on sentences that will look an awful lot like exercises 12 and 13 in the Gold Book.

8th Grade/4th Period: Friday we worked on the "The Road Not Taken" quoting worksheet. I'll have another one for you on Monday, probably "Ozymandias."

8th Grade/6th Period: No class Friday: half day. Monday we'll do the Frost quoting exercise. Plan for a quoting quiz maybe Thursday.
