Monday, Sept. 22

Good day, today, boyos. Right to it...

7th Grade/2nd Period: Today we did the prepositions quiz. Tomorrow we're all about the quiz on the final parts of speech: articles, conjunctions, and interjections. Homework tonight is Exercises 10-11 in the Gold Book.

7th Grade/3rd Period: Same as 2nd period. Quiz today, quiz tomorrow, "quest" Wednesday. Ex. 10-11 for homework.

8th Grade/4th Period: No class today - floater four.

8th Grade/6th Period: Today we did the "quest" on the 15 punctuation templates and began working on essay components. Tomorrow we intro the dreaded P.J. Essay.

HOOPER PROJECT: Congrats to the finally healthy Max Kiley, who knocked the Yankees Hoopers out of the park this past weekend. Indeed, Max, the '27 Yankees were the best ever, Mickey Mantle was the best switch-hitter of all time, and Thurmon Munson was the Yankee captain who died in a plane crash.

Tonight, the easiest Hooper ever, one that gets revisited every few months, just for those who pay attention. Two points to every Comper who can tell me where I got the name for the Hooper Project.
