A few housekeeping items.
First of all, big ups to the Middle School baseball for finishing off Norwood yesterday to win the Middle School Athletic Conference tournament. And a big, five-point extra credit thanks to these dudes for showing up to vocally substantiate Black Knight Pride.
Second, I will be spending the evening grading, so with luck I can get back all your Ulysses and Mom essays tomorrow.
Third, big nerdherd street cred to The Diesel for upping the ante on intergalactic awesomeness with this righteous photo.
Finally, 6th period: your mom letters are due tomorrow. Get them done on time, please. Five points off for every day it's late.
HOOPER PROJECT: A belated, congrats to Thundercat J.P. McPherson for knocking down Monday night's sporty spice Hooper. Yes, the Packers lead the NFL with 12 championships, the Yankees have won the most World Series, the Celtics the most NBA championships (likely to add a 17th this summer), and the Montreal Canadiens have won the most Stanley Cups, which is the championship trophy for the professional sport previously known as hockey.
Tonight, just because I'm in charge of this thing, a Hooper dedicated to one of my heroes, T.E. Lawrence. Five points to the first, and one to each additional Comper who can tell me the following about "Lawrence of Arabia": (a) In what war did he fight in Arabia?, (b) What was the classic memoir he wrote about his experiences in the Arab Revolt?, (c) What French-sounding nickname did the Arabs give him?, and (d) What Hollywood legend played Lawrence in the 1962 film about his life? Good luck, and remember, when it comes to Hoopers... "No prisoners!"
