Happy Memorial Day, boyos!
Coming into the homestretch, we're almost down to our last essays of the year! Keep scraping those pens across those pages, keep pounding those keys for two more weeks, and then we can all say we've earned our summers. Before I get into the assignments and updates and Hoopers...
This is a nice thing to show your moms or your sisters -- chicks dig sneezing pandas.
This, on the other hand, is only awesome because the Spanish announcer says "pobre animalita."
This is maybe the greatest football run ever.
This, however, is just ridiculous.
Finally, Japanese game shows are not awesome.
Okay, back to business.
7th graders, your High Noon essays are due Wednesday. Thursday we'll start on your final assignement, which is posted, by the way, on the left. They're due next week.
8th Graders, your Julius Caesar essays are due tomorrow, and I'll give you your final assignments, too, if I see you before you leave for your trip.
HOOPER PROJECT: In honor of Memorial Day, some military history Hoopers for you. Five points to the first and one to each additional Comper who can tell me: (a) What general was in charge of planning the D-Day invasion?, (b) What general led American troops into World War I?, (c) What general led American troops in the Middle East during the first gulf war?, (d) What general led American troops during the Revolutionary War? I salute you, gentlemen.
