The Avalon Middle School Writing Program is designed to prepare every Avalon student for a literate life (IC.). In it, students will master English grammar, study good writing, and learn to write with accuracy, concision, and force, to make of themselves clearer thinkers and better men (IC.).
There are 15 basic ways to link clauses in English (IC). If a compound or complex sentence you write isn't punctuated like one of the following, it's probably wrong (DC, IC).
