Tuesday, April 8
Gentlemen,
Forgive the late post. I didn't get home until late thanks to the nail-biting season opener of the middle school Black Knights. Any victory is great to have, but 12-11 wins with the bases loaded in the last inning, when everyone contributed to the victory, are even sweeter.
Anyway, I'm going to bed, so here's the Hooper:
HOOPER PROJECT: First of all, congrats to Thomas Bonatti for quartering last night's four Hoopers: James Madison was our fourth president, Henry IV's last name was Bollingbroke, the PGA Grand Slam is made up of the U.S. Open, British Open, Masters, and PGA Championship, and the Fourth Estate is the press.
Tonight, a brain-teasing Hooper: what is the only word in the English language that is made plural by adding an "a" to the beginning of the word? And in case you're wondering, yes, I can give you hints.
