7th Grade/4th Period: Tuesday we rocked Quiz #29, then reviewed the four-graph essays, especially common mistakes to avoid in the future. (The Essay Review will eventually be posted in the Nota Bene section to the left… keep checking, I’m sure it will be riveting.) Today we’re all about Class Exercise 029.

7th Grade/6th Period: Tuesday we did Quiz #30, which is taking people much longer than it ought. Alas. Today we’ll do essay review and, if we have time, some work on Class Ex. 031.

8th Grade/2nd Period: Tuesday we did Quiz #30, which took forever. No class today, floater two. Thursday we’ll be all over Class Ex 031.

8th Grade/Floaters: Tuesday we did Class Ex. 29, and today we’ll do Quiz #30.

Hooper Project: Congrats to Thomas Bonatti for slaughtering his Hooper by dropping serious knowledge about the Battle of Hastings, which took place on October 14, 1066 and was fought between the Normans, led by Duke William (the Conqueror), and the Saxon English, led by King Harold Godwinson. One last little tidbit about the battle, just the for the sheer awesomeness of it: the Saxons lost the battle shortly after their king caught a Norman arrow in his eyeball. When Norman cavalry found him, blinded, they cut the poor guy into so many pieces that only his wife, the luckless Edith, could identify him. Dagger.

Last night’s/this morning’s Hooper Project is posted below. Check it, gentlemen: Thundercats are go!
