Gentlemen,
Happy Easter, and Happy Opening Day. I hope everyone enjoyed his week off and is prepared for the final 10 weeks of the school year. Remember, the third quarter ends this Friday, April 4. That means you have five days to get me make-ups and to get caught up on any assignments you missed. PLEASE!!!!, do not come to me Friday at lunch and ask what you owe me. Be warned: I am bouncing at 3:15 on the dot Friday afternoon, so don't expect last-minute hand-ins. "If you fail to plan, you plan to fail" (Three Hooper points, by the way, to anyone who can tell me the president who said that).
Furthermore, all composition classes will have a test this week; the days will depend on the Gala practice schedule. The test will cover the Subject-Topic-Thesis/IDIOT argument material (the easy stuff) and the multi-clause compound-complex sentence material (the hard stuff). I'll host at least one review session before the test and try to be available all week for guys who need extra help. Please use this time if you need it.
