Sunday, 27 January
Gentlemen,
Congratulations on completing the first semester. Except for 6th period, which still has to take Test #5 tomorrow, all grades for the second quarter are complete and in the books. Good work to all.
Going forward, the class is going to change a bit. For the next week or so, we're going to work on compound-complex sentences -- specifically, writing them -- and the uses of emphasis and subordination. Soon, we'll start working on different kinds of things, too. Everyone should be ready to do a lot of writing between now and June... that's what I meant by this being the fun time of the course.
See you all tomorrow, and good luck in the spring semester.
Mr. C.
