Welcome to the Avalon Writers' Corner. I'm still working out some of the kinks, but my plan is to update this site several times a week with summaries of material we cover in class, extra credit assignments, exercises, notices of writing competitions, and other tidbits of interest for Avalon Composition students.

Going forward, all the blog posts will be here on the right side of the page, and they will change frequently. To the left you'll find permanent features for the students -- rules, terms, poems that can be memorized for extra credit (or correction, as the case may be), etc. I will also link to helpful websites as I find them (and please, if you know of any pass them along).
Also, I (think I) finally have email lists up and running for all composition classes. From now on, I will try to give parents a heads up about upcoming quizzes or other scheduling events. I still don't have email addresses from a few of you, so I'll pester your sons about that this week so we can be sure to have everyone on the list.
