Big quiz day on Friday. Hope you all did well.
Remember, this weekend there is a one time only offer of double extra credit if you write a five-sentence essay on the Red Sox-Indians series and HAND IT IN ON MONDAY. Game 6 tonight is at 8:00.
Now, to recap:
8th Grade/2nd Period - We did Quiz #12 yesterday, then did Class Ex. #008 in class. Quiz #13 will be Monday (unless the Red Sox win) and based on Friday's exercise, which is linked to the left.
8th Grade/Floaters - We did Quiz #13 yesterday, then did Essay #6. If you were absent, the essay question was "Should Avalon admit girls? Why or why not?" Five sentences; get to work if you weren't there Friday. No quiz Monday; enjoy the Red Sox comeback.
7th Grade/4th Period - We did Quiz #12 and Essay #6 yesterday. No homework, so you might think to take a few minutes and do the weekend Extra Credit essay.
7th Grade/6th Period - We did Quiz #11 and Class Ex. #007 (linked to left). Quiz #12 will be Monday (unless the Red Sox win) and based on Class Ex. #007 if you want to practice. Congrats to Damian Lucas and John Klein for getting Friday's EC challenge by naming the English language's 14 punctuation marks.
